Renee Hawkins

Renee spends her summers here in Cashiers but, as of two years ago, calls Nashville home. She and her husband, John, are members of Mountaintop Golf and Lake Club, and they have two children.

Both Renee and John were born and raised in Tennessee but spent John’s working years in Houston. During their 33 years there, Renee was actively involved in the community in a variety of ways. Her passions included St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, the Emergency Aid Coalition, the Tourette Syndrome Association, an after-school program associated with the church, and tutoring at an underserved elementary school. She was also a member of the Junior League of Houston and the National Charity League.

Since arriving in Nashville, Renee has become involved with the Tiffany Circle, an organization that supports the American Red Cross, as well as the Nashville Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition. She is honored to now add BGCP to her list of passions.

Favorite hobbies: Reading, golf, mahjong, hiking, and travel.
